Overview:
We seek a proactive individual to join our FX eTrading support team. The ideal candidate should possess experience in supporting electronic execution and/or algorithmic trading systems, along with user support. This role involves providing 1st & 2nd level support for electronic trading and execution systems, monitoring and troubleshooting trades, and operating within a 24-hour global trading support team using the follow-the-sun support model. Additionally, the candidate will engage in all technical aspects of the trading system and client support interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide functional and technical support for relevant systems to users worldwide, including:
Static data management (Counterparties, Currencies, etc.).
Administer platforms in coordination with system providers, internal and external.
Address STP (straight thru processing) issues.
Incident Management.
Manage customer relations when interacting directly with internal and external system users.
Cultivate positive relationships with business stakeholders (FO, MO/Risk, BO), third parties, and team members (business or technical analysts).
Collaborate with users and developers.
Independently handle releases and possess Release Management experience.
Work within the team or independently, alongside a specific project manager, including:
Developing project plans.
Supporting project completion and timely delivery.
Conducting testing, including script writing, for new releases.
Assisting in tracking project time and resources.
Overall Department Objectives:
Assist in meeting agreed budget goals.
Enhance service quality.
Improve customer satisfaction (internal and external).
Perform assigned responsibilities professionally and in accordance with company policy.
Timely reporting within the IT department’s time tracking system.
Prompt reporting of incidents, outages, system errors, and possible enhancements within the designated system.
Stay informed about regulatory markets and the competitive landscape.
Write and maintain procedures.
Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR).
Stay abreast of current technological developments, internally and externally.
Management and Reporting:
Timely reporting within the IT department’s time tracking system.
Prompt reporting of incidents, outages, system errors, and potential enhancements within the designated system.
Maintain awareness of regulatory markets and the competitive landscape.
Stay updated on current technological developments, internally and externally within the firm.
