Roles and Responsibilities :

Procurement of pharmaceutical packaging materials - Aluminum Foils, Laminates, Cartons, Labels, Bottles, Caps, Tubes, etc.
Quality Check of Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials both onsite and offsite for Printed Cartons, Aluminum Foils, Aluminum Tubes, Glass Bottles, ROPP Caps, Plastic Packaging Materials etc.
Preparing and maintaining SOP for filing system and creating standards and procedures for the purchase of packaging materials.
Conforming to the qualtity and specifications as required from the marketing/sales team and discussing with the vendors of the requirements.
Negotiating with the vendors for prices, payments and delivery time, freight, and other terms & conditions.
Following up with them for delivery schedule and logistics of packaging material.
Checking of artworks, corrections and providing final approvals in line with customer approvals to production team.
Checking of the materials during production stages and final inspections, checking the shade cards, and preparing the quality checklists.
Co-ordinate with logistics teams for giving required information from time to time for COA’s, etc. Maintaining and updating the Export Checklist, Purchase Order Reports and ensuring co-ordination with all procedures in place for approval of artworks, packaging raw materials, and other required documents for exports.
Monitor changes in the supply base and proactively manage any potential impact on future supply.
Communicating and visiting the vendors as and when required.
Demand forecasting & supply planning in coordination with the internal teams.
