Job Overview


Knows the SDLC and MS methodology well able to articulate and understand the pain points of customer

Design the solution to address the pain points and deliver it, having exposure to the application support engagement

Collaborate with third party developers, finance, quality control, production, production support,Information Technology and others as required to provide technical direction on systems analysis, gathering of requirements, design, development, testing,debugging and deployment of new functionalities and features in NAV

Execute authorized system modifications in NAV

Communicate new features and enhancements in NAV to appropriate management and employees

Coordinate and work with management and subject area experts in the planning for, and execution of information technology capabilities in NAV to improve the efficiency of operations, productivity and outcomes of Visual Pak’s finance and production functions and their day to day activities

Facilitate documentation of technical requirements, software design sessions, process workflow definitions and systems architectural reviews as well as implement necessary change control procedures

Ensure the Company is running the most recent version of NAV

Supporting client engagement and business development, ideally leveraging existing client relationships

Configuring and deploying Microsoft Dynamics GP including GL, AP, AR, payroll, HR, inventory, sales order processing, and purchase order processing functionality

Configuring and deploying Microsoft solutions, specifically GP on SQL platforms (including GL, AP, AR,payroll, inventory, order entry, HR, and purchasing modules)

Providing day-to-day functional application support for clients

Leading client training and participating in solution demonstration efforts- Providing expertise in integration of third-party solutions into the Microsoft GP platform

Supporting client engagements and business development, ideally leveraging existing client relationships

Working as a team with other firm technical and business process-oriented consultants

Manage securities and permissions within NAV

Manage and troubleshoot EDI processes

Provide day to day and on-call second tier end-user application support, as appropriate

Troubleshoot and coordinate with third party consultants as needed to resolve issues

Ensure the timely and effective delivery of planned solutions into ongoing daily activities

Design and ensure functionality of various reporting in NAV and through the use of Microsoft Power BI and Jet Reports

Maintain current reporting and makes enhancements as needed

Develop on-going reports needed by the business to improve information and decision making

Required Skills:

Minimum of 8+ years Dynamics NAV Application Consulting experience

Minimum of 5 full life cycle Dynamics NAV implementations

Experience participating in Work Scoping & Estimation for new projects

Excellent communication,planning and organization skills

Ability to establish priorities and work independently

Strong customer relationship skills
