Occupation: Chef (Full time)

Hours Per week: 38
Salary: $75,000 plus superannuation

Key Responsibilities
• Plan all the main menus (including lunch menus), managing the kitchen keeping records of and ordering food supplies
• Creating estimates of total food and labour costs and liaising with the senior management
• Conduct meetings and discuss food preparation in line with hygiene regulations with the management, kitchen and waiting staff
• Provide kitchen staff with advice on cooking techniques, procedures and provide final approval on all dishes prepared
• Provide staff training for kitchen staff
• Cooking and preparing food along with the kitchen staff

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Must have at least 2 years work experience as a Chef gained in Australia
• Must have a qualification of at least a relevant Diploma
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Be creative in dish development
• Effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure and with a team
• Excellent Excel skills for record maintaining
