Full Time Tandoori Chef
Salary Range $75,000-$80,000 per annum + superannuation

We are Looking for an experienced Tandoori Chef for a full-time position to work closely with our
team for a busy Indian restaurant in Hoppers Crossing. Business operates 7 days dinner and
lunches on weekends only. You will be working 38 hours a week with a rotating roster. You must
be available every day of the week.

time.

Must have experience of Tandoor cooking. You would need to be a team player.

Your key responsibilities include:
• The Tandoori Chef will work closely with the Head Chef, taking on essential responsibilities such as preparing and cooking tandoori dishes to perfection, maintaining the highest quality standards and ensuring consistency in flavour and presentation.
• The Tandoori Chef will also assist in managing kitchen operations, supervising kitchen staff, and contributing to menu development to enhance the restaurant’s offerings.
• Preparation and marination of entrée
• Cooking of bread in Tandoor oven
• Operating kitchen equipment
• Clean up and maintenance of kitchen area
• Follow HACCP procedures

Requirements
A skilled Tandoori Chef is integral, bringing expertise in authentic Indian cooking techniques and creating innovative dishes that cater to a wide range of dietary needs and palates.
Must also have experience in Tandoor cooking.
You would need to be a team player.
Available every day of the week, including weekends.
