Ideally, candidates will have experience and a great track record in warehouse and delivery work with the know-how to plan and organise time. The business offers a broad range of products for use in the equestrian, pet and agricultural markets and it would be advantageous for candidates to have knowledge about these areas. Role dimensions:
Loading and unloading goods from suppliers and packing of customer orders.
Placing goods into the correct storage bays and ensuring that all stock is stored safely and securely.
Completing required paperwork and administration duties.
Using the forklift and other warehouse equipment in accordance with safe working practices.
Assist with goods in procedures and checking deliveries for quality, quantity and damage.
Checking items out for delivery for quality, quantity and any damage.
Drive safely and responsibly and within the law, to and from client sites and while on business.
Report and record any discrepancies and damage of stock on the system, to the transport manager and procurement team.
Delivering goods to client sites and unloading them to the required storge areas.
Completing required delivery notes and processes.
You will need:
A full valid UK driving license, including trailer towing or an HGV license.
A forklift license.
Good geographic knowledge.
